Duskmourn was my first pre release and I had a blast

I bought a booster box from my LGS to help support them whilst attending the pre-release last Friday. I was the first person to purchase a booster box, register for the pre-release on the night and bought a new playmat. They did not give the collector booster promo pack to me and charged me £160 for the booster box. I'm quite disappointed with them after that experience. Its nice to find a channel and watch someone so enthusiastic about mtg on here at least.

Nice Video as always ❤ Was very interested in duskmourn because I also love the Horror Theme a lot 🙌 I understood the hype around the bloomburrow set, but to be honest; I found it sad, that the pull rates got gutted so strongly. I think it will be healthier for consistent card value on the open market, but they should tone down on the box prices, if they decrease the pull rates this much. I am liking the direction we are going with MTG at the moment, they keep innovating the cardgame with different mechanics, that are not too abstract or far fetched which will always remain in the core mechanics of the game. Keep the good work up!

Love that you check the prices, not everyone does that, Which value/card scanner do you use? I use delver lens and I can not choose cardmarket there as a source. Cardmarket makes the most sense in my case. Thank you :)

First time opening collector booster, first booster I opened: fractured foil Enduring Tenacity. Second booster I opened: Japanese Anime Enduring Vitality. Prices are dropping fast though, I don’t think you can make the value back. Especially with the play boosters. Absolutely overpriced.

Opened a total of 11 packs at the pre-release. Didn't get a single pack with more than 1 rare. More annoyingly, 7 of those were a room or land, even more annoyingly the rest were bad too. Fortunately, the one rare creature I got was Zimone, All-Questioning. While she's probably not very good in commander (the format I normally play), she carried me quite hard for the pre-release. Getting a free 3/3, 5/5, or 7/7 for playing a land on prime count was tough for a lot of people to deal with.
