This is one of those indie titles that managed to recapture what I loved about Iga's Castlevania titles, and Muramasa: The Demon Blade, well before the new wave of Souls-like indies. I was surprised to see you playing along to a track from the ost, but not unpleasantly surprised. Great work!

I LOVE THIS GAME! XD

Muramasa had the benefit of George Kamitani at it's helms amd good lord is it an eye catcher. The music for area themes are made in a way that there are two separate versions of the same song going on at once, and once you hit and encounter, it seamlessly transitions to the combat version of the music. And don't get me started on the food in Vanillaware games.
@wanderingharlow63054 жыл бұрын
Another thing with Muramasa, there are multiple composers that really bring out the style of the game, one being Yoshimi Kudo.

Yeah I bought this game like 3 times so I could keep playing it elsewhere, my first 24 hour charity stream was me 100% it on the PS4 in one sitting. The Glade and Abadis Forrest were great songs to start the game, but for whatever reason Cirromon Caverns became my favorite. Maybe because it's much more subdued and then builds up into something SO lovely by the end. But yeah, count me as someone who hopes that eventually Dean can continue and possibly make a second game. And you can't tell me Dust didn't set the inspiration for games like the Ori series, which are another phenominal pair of indie games.

Thank God people recognize this game. It had such a special place in my heart. The game was made by a single man over 4 years who did everything save for the music and voice acting, and it came out better than most triple AAA games released today. Beautiful game 10/10 and I'm glad it has gotten some form of recognition in 2020 6 years later!!!
