Girl…. I’ve come to realize that MOST people settle in their relationships. MOST people do not wait for the man/woman of their dreams. Bc settling is EASY!!!!! I waited a long ass time for my dream man and was tempted more than a few times to settle in my past. Girl, I just started talking to this man who has checked off a lot of the boxes that I have asked God for, and my paranoid behind keeps thinking, "Nah, this can't be him, it feels too easy. What's the catch?" 😂 It's funny because when God has given me other things that I have asked for, I recognize them right away as answers to my prayers, but this one has me questioning the heck out of it because I've become so worried about settling for the wrong man and yet I'm worried that he might be the right one and I'm over thinking it, lol

Your TedTalk was everything!! The dust settles, I don't👏🏾👏🏾 PERIOD!! You should definitely do a video on taking the time to work on yourself and being on a self-love journey before getting back into the dating scene. I have a similar experience. At 23 I stopped dating because I saw a lot of negative traits I had when I was in relationships/situationships which resulted in the type of men I was dating. Now, I'm 29 (will be 30 in June) I am ready to date again. I am more confident in who I am and what I want. Watching your vlogs gives me hope that I made a good decision to take the amount of time I did to heal and learn how to love myself, but also it's now time for me to get back out there to start intentionally date. I know this version of me will appreciate the man God has for me better than I would have in the past. We were in the same boat when you said it was to giving toxic. Whew Chile!!🤦🏾‍♀ lol In all seriousness, I think you going into more detail about your experience and what did the transition look like for you will not only help other women, but it will be relatable because I don't know anyone else who have took a step back from dating, especially as long as I have. So, you sharing your story makes me feel like I'm not the only one who has this experience then I know it will be a great benefit to others.

Hmm I know this is true but you said stuff like he doesn't value you you, he makes you feel small, cut him off. But for me we respect each other and we treat each other well but something in the back of my head is telling me this man is not going to be my husband.
