i commented here a few years ago. i came to this show with my dad before i transitioned to female. i was 16. my dad died this year. a few months ago. it destroys me. he always supported and loved me. we traveled there specifically to see this show together. i'm dallas texas born and raised. i miss him. we used to always talk about music, he loved jazz and i loved indie rock. rest in peace dad... i love you so much. this reminds me of him. i'm glad you uploaded this. it helps me remember. you can see him standing next to me. i'm the kid with the bushy hair just in front of the camera. he supported me through thick and thin. made me feel like the luckiest daughter. rock on.

I saw Duster a few months after this in late February 2020. My last show before lockdown. Very similar setlist. I’ll remember it for the rest of my life.

the drummer looks super familiar, was he playing with built to spill for a while?
@callum677145 жыл бұрын
I think the drummer is Stephen Gere, both him and the bassist, Jason Albertini, played in built to spill during the same period.

- He also tours with Built to Spill. Or possibly his band Helvetia was touring at the same time. I got to see him with Duster a few days before lockdown. He’s the creator of all those rad drum fills, even though he played bass when I saw him then.
