@@sermonking I have been a Kings fan since I move to LA area in 2006 and adopted the KIngs as my NHL team. It's been fantastic watching Brownie at work. Him, Justin Williams and Jeff Carter are some of my personal favorite LA Kings but Dustin Brown stands on the top of the Kings mountain for me.

When Kopi and Brown hugged man... I started watching hockey the 2012 playoffs and fell in love with this team. At the time it could have been bandwagon yeah but I've been here ever since the highs and the lows. Thank you Dustin for helping to make a hockey fan out of a kid from New Mexico. Now let's do the improbable and go win the cup.

Exactly, like they did in both 2012 (as an 8th seed team) and in 2014 (coming back from a 3-0 hole in the first round, beating the 2 Californian rivals and the reigning champion)! GKG!

Being a life long Kings here, It's funny how I remember how he gave some of those vancouver players some hard times but in the end they are paying their respects to him even the Vancouver fans. I always remember that big hit he gave Henrik Sedin in the 2012 Stanley Cup run man it was beautiful but also hurt just seeing it.

Just know, and I speak for many Vancouver fans when we say this - despite a great rivalry we have with the Kings, there is no bad blood on our end towards the team or their fanbase. The Kings are a classy team, and tough opponents. Brown had one hell of a career and all of us in Vancouver wish him nothing but the best. Now go stick it to Edmonton!! Good luck 🤝

I know that feeling! When I was 12, a 9 year old Richard Park used to sometimes practice with (and skate circles around) our team in Harbor City. He moved to Toronto a few years later and went on to play a good career in the NHL.

1st and foremost, congrats Brown on a long, productive career. We'll see if you can add a bit more here soon. 2nd, Lemieux looked like he didn't want to be there long at all lol. Everyone else had a bit longer hug and looked like they had at least a sentence to say. Maybe I'm reading into it a little too much, but it seems like the Kings Captain doesn't take too kindly to biters.
