Thank you !!!!!!! After struggling for months on a way to set up my garage shop, this video put it all together for me. I have a 2 car garage and I have been trying to find a way to set up half of it for my woodworking because the other half is boat storage. I set up just like this layout on the table saw half the day after watching this video. I've been working in it for a month and it is awesome. Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Word of advice on the bandsaw carbide blade. I have the exact same bandsaw and the first carbide blade I bought was a 1” x 133” I assume that one is 133”. Anyway I found that the one inch blade didn’t give me enough adjustment. I dropped down to a 3/4” carbide blade and got way better results. Being able to rock the blade back on the tire makes a difference. Have a good one

Great shop, lots of ideas if I can ever get my wife to agree to park outside! One note on those air compressors: the aluminum tube that goes to the tank from the motor has rubber orings that don’t like the heat very well. We have one at one of our gas stations that we have replaced about 4 times now due to that failure. Luckily, Home Depot is great about just swapping it out with another one. Love the rockler carts, definitely going to look into those! Thanks for sharing your shop with us!

I've been playing around with the idea of reorganizing my shop lately so this is perfect timing. I have a 2-car garage as my shop as well so this really was helpful. I got extremely frustrated this weekend when I was tripping over crap and it started to put doubt in my head about what I was doing with all the equipment. I had to take a break and realize that's not the problem, organization was. I'm a fairly organized person but having a few projects going on at the same time caused a mess in the shop and thus caused the frustration.

Great shop tour! Question - on the outfield slash work table, how is the hardboard attached and what is underneath? How do people typically attach? I made one with hardboard on top plywood and the hardboard isn't flat but wavy
@DustinE6105 жыл бұрын
WorksInTheory the hardboard is just screwed into the MDF torsion box, allowing it to be replaced. It was a little wavy in the beginning but has flattened out well.
@rhuynh5 жыл бұрын
@@DustinE610 thanks. I found screwing in mushroomed the hardboard and no longer making it smooth and flat rougher.
