Much as I like the original, Dustin's version just gave me a whole new level of goosebumps.

Iv met this man he’s just a man but the most talented person I have ever seen. I idolize everything Iv seen as a man and musician. As a musician myself he and thrice have been my soundtrack for life. I don’t think I have many days left I’m 31 but my last song if I get the opportunity will be anything he has been apart of god bless god speed.

I love this song so much! Over the years I have heard so many versions/covers of this song and just listening to this and signing it....makes me cry. The words are beautifully written by the band Radiohead! And Dustin Kensrue singing it makes me cry and just gives me so much empowerment. Sorry, for my rambling.

Nah. And that's what makes it my favorite voice in all of music. You can hear the soul and pain in his voice. Perfect pitches and notes are not his thing. There's plenty of classically trained singers that can attain that "perfection" sound, but it's definitely not for me. I need to hear pain, soul, cracking, and imperfections. Dustin always sings like he's about to bust into tears, and that's what makes him the greatest voice in music.
@pharaohbhang11726 жыл бұрын
No, there are plenty of technical flaws in his voice. And that's the beauty of it and what makes it so powerful and amazing.

If he thought that most/many of us wouldn't like him the way we do now ;/ If you want to listen to "artists" who think they're gods there are so many out there.... no need to taint everyone, you know. He's one of the few who are so down to earth and produce some of the best songs I've ever heard; seeing him transform into something else because of fame/popularity would be a huge disappointment. Thankfully, they guy has both a heart and a mind that are unique and he obviously has true values as a person (btw, many so called Christians don't, religion has little to do with that in essence, even though I suppose it can help one find themselves through some kind of peace and clarity), so I don't have to worry about him that much :p Hmm so maybe you could see him as an entity I'm willing to believe in... yh, in that sense I could call him a "god" xD

Marie Deiter He openly said in 2015 that he left the church. His new song Grey is a testament to that
@TRUexperience815 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure he just left as the worship leader, not the church in general.
@Dan-mn7em2 жыл бұрын
@@danielberanek5130 I know that I am 3 yrs late and I am sorry for that but thankfully he did leave the church and the crazy senior pastor he was under. I am certain that Dustin still has a relationship with the Father and his relationship with Him will carry on!!
