I have to say this, i was part of the following of the huge McGregor fanbase, i was such a huge fan of Connor, i loved watching him fight especially his climb to the top of 145 and when he fought Diaz twice, i was so bumbed when he lost his first fight to Diaz, but after watching how the fame got to his head and all the bad encounters i would see on KZbin, plus the way he would carry himself after a loss to his opponents would say alot about how he really carries himself, its not someone i would want my child to look uo to...Dustin is a true Champion by heart win or lose hes always humble, even after the 3rd Connor fight when Connor talked alll that crap about Dustins wife, Dustin still had the heart to say that he hopes Connor and his family make it home safe...Thats a true champion, and what true Champions are made of.. It depends who wins though. If Arman pulls it off, I think they would much rather go with DP as the next challenger. Mainly for the reasons that DC said, DP has the resume and the star power. If Max wins, he’ll have a lot of options and some big decisions to make. If Gaethje or Charlie win, I agree they’d probably be next if they’re ready to go when Islam is. But if they’re not ready for that turn around, goes back to DP. And, even if one of those guys are up first, DP might have the option of waiting and HIS next fight will be for a title. A lot of moving parts at 55 right now, exciting times.
