why say this? Just … let him do it. This comment is literally antithetical to his awesome character work. Don’t acknowledge it maybe ?? You saying this broke the kayfabe he was trying to keep alive lmfao. Edit this comment to say fuck the Rock, then I’ll delete this reply. That woulda been a way better comment than this tired crap. If you “love it” so much, try doing it with Dustin my guy sorry, boutta go off. I know I’m doing too much or it’s not that serious but I think it is and I want to lol. Wrestling fans that talk and sound like this are the WORST wrestling fans. God I miss 2001 when fans had no idea how pro wrestling worked. Even if they did, they didn’t say shit when the product came on. They didn’t know words like kayfabe, heel, face, booking, etc. I hear those words all the time today. Every teenager with a phone acts like they are backstage or know how booking and storyline writing works. They pick a Royal Rumble winner after like, Summerslam. Bet y’all didn’t know that. i hate it lmfao just be fans please, treat these characters like they are real EVEN IF you know they’re not. You’re not smart by pointing it out. “Wow, great kayfabe work!” that’s something a no name backstage hand should be saying privately to Dustin backstage; not something a fan just randomly says on the internet. Like ?? Stopping all this modern day fan take will make this product way better without you even knowing! You guys don’t even realize how much better it would be! Wrestling after whatculture joined the conversation in like 2011 changed for the worse forever, and I don’t think we’ll ever have it back. I hope we do, I’m constantly complaining about it! But no, I think fans like you have changed it forever, you guys are everywhere now unfortunately. All I have to look forward to is booking and backstage shit and storylines; no one has favorite wrestlers or favorite finishers anymore, no one stays hyped for a single wrestler after a story (Nakamura signed on and mfs freaked out, I barely hear about him now even tho I’m still hyped about him) like do you guys feel the vibe change from 2 decades ago to now? I can’t even have a conversation in kayfabe without people trying to make me talk like you. For example, “Um you know he’s a hard worker right and even though he’s a heel he’s still getting reactions and he should be pushed.” after me saying something like “Boo! He’s getting his ass beat fasho and ain’t winning that title ong” Like mf just let me be a fan! Why you gotta remind me of all the stuff I’m trying to forget? Heel, booking, all that stuff. Don’t ever use that shit when talking to me lmao. I usually think the same, “he should be pushed!” But I’m doing it the right way, booing him! Saying “he should be pushed” does nothing but ruin pro wrestling. He’ll be pushed if you just boo him. Don’t gotta break the illusion. The magic is gone and I’ll forever hate you guys for actively making sure the magic stays gone with shit like this

I think Dustin understands that WWE is what keeps the industry moving and gets new fans interested and then those fans are more willing to go to local promotions and then look at bigger ones besides WWE. We need both WWE and AEW to be good because they offer what fans want, if you want story line and drama you got WWE if you want a little bit of drama and story but a lot of just straight up wrestling AEW. I think both can do a little bit more of what they lack ( especially AEW).

It comes full circle. Dustin is proud of his brother Cody, and proud that he was there at the beginning of Rock's career. But at the same time he keeps kayfabe alive, and ain't happy about somebody beating up his brother. 😂

Dusty was always one of my favorites. Only he could have pulled off golddust and made him that hilarious but also a cool wrestler to watch. His whole family is just bursting with talent.

Rock acknowledges Dustin as a future Hall of Famer. That should happen sooner not later.

I believe the plans have long been in motion. They're just waiting for him to complete his AEW contract.

Dustin Rhodes doesn’t dislike the Rock. He is working you and doing a good job of it.

Dustin is a real one, though and through. His match with Cody a couple years back was crazy.

The cliche "F**k the Rock" is his own style of giving The Rock his due respect, Goldust is a legend.
