Yes, they have classes every month in the pro stores you can go to if you are a member, but they aren't free.

No you're correct. I think I ended up implying it a little bit but I didn't clearly state it and I probably should have. You can use your PRO discount at regular stores and PRO stores, but not at counters.

mac pro stores also get exclusive collections! like "art of the eye" more recently. pro stores usually have earlier collection release dates than regular free-standing stores and mac counters. they usually hold special events like master classes too..and events where models and props are used

It should yes. But there's a number in the description area for you to contact MAC and ask them questions like that... they're the source so they'd be able to tell you exactly what will work :)

I need to update my MAC Foundation Overview video and when I do it will include that one along with their Airbrush foundation and the Matchmaster foundation (and anything else newer than that video). I've used the new Mineralize one and, while I actually DO like it - it doesn't come in my shade. They don't make and NW light enough and the lightest NW looks VERY yellow on me. I still plan to review it though :)

There's actually info and a link in the description area where you can read about all of the benefits you get from PRO membership like Master Classes (I only talked about the discount really). Art of the Eye wasn't a PRO only launch though... MAC usually does one small PRO only launch per year but that's it. They also stopped launching collections a week earlier at PRO stores... I think sometime around the beginning of the year.

I'm curious about the pro blushes and contour powders. The blushes in particular are very bright and people often say you just tone them down, so I think it'd be interesting to see some of the bright blushes in their full range of effects.

In general! You know, peachy/bisque colors on undereye areas, green for acne, lavender to brighten. Makeup Forever even sells primers in these colors. Do you use them, or think they're bunk? I've noticed a lot of youtibe gurus (pixiwoo, you, Wayne) never even mention it and still look fabulous

You can only use the pro discount at Mac freestanding stores and online . Not at Mac counters .

I know you don't do too many drugstore product related videos, but it seems to be a rising trend of foundations that go from a liquid to powder state, (I know cream to powder has been around for awhile,) L'oreal and a couple other brands have just released some. Check the video description for MAC PRO contact info. I would recommend calling or emailing them to ask what they would need from you to apply. If you want a fast answer I'd recommend calling a couple PRO stores and asking them. They should be able to tell you quickly and help you out.

Check the description of this video - you'll find an email address and phone number. I would recommend calling them and telling them you'd like to know why you don't qualify. To safe time, you could also call any one of the US PRO stores and tell them what's going on and ask them if they know of some policy that's preventing your membership - if you get someone REALLY nice they might be able to help push it through for you.

@trereK is correct! ANYONE can walk in to a PRO store and buy products. You just don't get a discount if you don't have a PRO card. They don't have MAC guards standing by to kick you out if you aren't a PRO member... and even if they did, I'm sure you could take them down ;)

I don't remember which one it was but it's probably going to be either MAC Aiea (808.488.2200) or MAC Honolulu (808.955.0356). Call one of those stores and ask them... if they aren't the new PRO store they'll know which one is and can give you the number :) I heard that they JUST converted to a PRO store a month or so ago so it's very new.

No actually, this video clearly states that anyone who has the proper credentials can become a member :) So there are rules. If you have questions you should contact MAC :)

We have both a counter and a freestanding store. Guess which one is packed with people doing nothing and artists trying to do their jobs with limited space (thanks to people standing around with nothing to do). They aren't worrying about product, just being in the way for other people who just want to buy something and get out. A little ways away at another mall: a PRO store! All in the same state...
