The Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort is nestled in the Smokey Mountains of Gatlinburg Tennessee. This is also a timeshare resort. We went down with some friends of ours that are owners and stayed for a week. The resort is beautiful and offers a lot to do including a water park, mini golf, a zipline and much more.

I wanted a week stay rental and the Lied and where trying to get me to sign up for a $30,000 + time share ownership. This place is a total ripoff. I mean if I did not read the paper work I would be paying for a time share.

Mike you are right we bought a week vacation year's ago we paid over a thousand dollars I called a month ahead for a 2 bed there were 5 of us counting our 7 year old grandson they put us in a crappie 1 bed and when we ask about more towels they said we could go down stairs and wash our towels. And then wanted us to go to another seminar before we left we said no . I wouldn't go back there if they offered a free week's vacation.

You can pay to be a member and get way better rates without owning a timeshare. I pay 850 for a week stay in a two bedroom.
