that looked fun!!! When I went to UCSC (80's) I raced and the rides outta that town were epic... Specialized just released the Stumpjumper (my buddy had one I was strictly road warrior then) and every time I borrowed it I ended up buying him new hoops cause I had poor impulse control and taco'd or flat spotted the wheels on every ride....... Now I am at home foot elevated while the newly replaced ankle heals... This video was perfect inspiration for my recovery journey!! Thx D!!! Keep em coming!

It's good to see it's still there. From Aptos, Valencia Road, Day Valley, Hames to Corrallitos, Browns Valley Road, Mt. Madonna Road (steep), Summit Road (dirt), down Mt. Bache, Highland Way, Buzzard Lagoon, Aptos Creek Fire Road. One of these days we'll have Loma Prieta Road. Thanks for sharing. Brings back memories when I did it on my road bike.

Not so fun fact about photochromic lenses: They usually do not work while riding a car because the effect gets activated by UV-rays and normal car windows pretty effectively block these. Edit: forgot the 'h'

Looks to me like they went from Capitola to Aptos on McGregor, then jumped to Corralitos (not sure how), up Mt Madonna Rd, and north on Summit, then down through the soquel demonstration forest. I think there's a fire road connecting Summit to the soquel forest near the top of Uvas Cyn park, but not sure; Summit also loops all the way back to the soquel forest. Then Nisene Marks down to Aptos.
