BMX HOW TO: CRANK ARM GRIND aka the shoe grind

The shoe grind is one of those tricks that in my opinion will always be crazy/wild. So I decided to do a little how to for anyone out there wanting to learn how to do them or struggling with it. Enjoy!

I’ve always wanted to do this trick and the other day I got a subrosa rail. I started trying it and to my surprise, I actually got into it and grinded off the end! I’ve got a square rail at my skatepark tho, so I’m not sure how that’ll work out.

Depending on how fat the square rail is, it's not impossible. It can def work on a square rail, but like it almost has to be in a certain position since you dont have the freedom of any angle (like a round rail has)

cranks will be fine as long as you're not bashing the F outta your bike (like mentioned in the video, don't hop that high). Pedals on the other hand, you should spray paint one side; kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWXNq4h8ZtyUhK8

markakis2015 R6 guarding disk? If you mean like a special sprocket, no you don’t need one. I wasn’t running one in this video
