Sunshine the dusttale animation should help clear up why dust killed them it will show chara was involved (frisk could explain that chara is possessing them) and it should show them it affected his mind (which means he didn't originally want to kill them) so he could explain that the videos showed what happened so they know why he killed them (or at least that he had a reason of some kind) if you are fine with a second video for the reaction the dusttale version of the bye bye meme would show that sans could remember timelines and eventually snapped mentally from the amount of genocide endings (the people who it hurt sans the most to kill was toriel and papyrus though regardless sans didn't want to kill monsters but thought it was the fastest way to get strong enough to defeat frisk and chara so he thought it was the only way he could win aside from possibility injecting himself with determination) and as sans killed monsters he eventually made a soul of determination from the determination of monsters he killed

I'm not saying that frisk is completely innocent I'm saying those videos will show enough information to prove the reason why it's still happening (after all frisk wanted to stop by the time chara was full on possessing frisk and before that chara was possessing frisk only in the sense of there souls were connected but the ghost of chara was watching what frisk was doing chara just hadn't tried to take over the body of frisk yet at that point)
