I think this is amazing. In my opinion, Dusty and Edenia were two of the first women in Tribal Fusion to really start digging in deep with this style's derivative American influences of Popping. You see the tutting, the glides, the waves, the isolations and pops. Granted, Edenia has taken it to a whole other level since she has created her own trademark of it but Dusty should be commended for trying something that was unique at the time rather than being another Rachel or Zoe dance moniker.

No snark on the dancer, but a behind-the-scenes suggestion: it'd be so much easier to appreciate the popping and locking if the camera wasn't popping all over the place as well. I know a million quick cuts and close-ups are all the rage in bellydancing videos, but it robs some of the movements of the fluidity and smoothness that really make this style.

i don't generally like hip hop tribal fusion (not least because of the plain costuming) but this is pretty cool...she actually looks like she's moving in reverse. plus the costume is gorgeous.

There's people insulting her on these comments? I think she's awesome! I know this sounds odd but she's like a dancing mime, she knows how to make it looks like her arms are moving her body. I find it entertaining when people insult what they know absolutely nothing about, I mean I don't see these people insulting doing better belly dancing.

@TheAmaliarose yeah something in the way-"tribal fusion bellydance"..that dance is not so old as egyptian bellydance for a sample,but the "typical" bellydance and "tribal bellydance" was the roots of it and so on^^

pretty strict liquid pop fusion, love it! Alot other related fusions don't have as much of the fused material in it, like maybe a cool move here and there but this was straight through, love it
