Chad I totally understand what you’re saying about the difference between having 20 acres that is just flat and free without a bunch of trees vs. having Linn where are you constantly have a bunch of brush and trees and buildings. I lived in Kansas for 23 years (or 25) & it was on the south east end of the state plus I spent a lot of time in Oklahoma and we were in the wide-open areas and I missed the trees of Iowa and Minnesota and Wisconsin. But when I bought land, I wanted a lot of flatland in front of my house and out in my pasture with just a few trees block in the north wind and I just want to see for as far as I could & keep it simple and beautiful. It’s exhausting when you have all these scrub trees and cottonwood trees and whatever type it is grown up in the middle of your land and then next thing you know you’ve got brush everywhere. You either take it down when it’s young or fight it when it gets older and it’s not beautiful and it just makes your land look unkempt!!!!!😂 I am very very happy for you and Raye & the Boys (& the Livestock)!! it was wonderful on that first day when Case Went out on his four-wheeler & She just wrote it as far as fast as he shared with nothing in his pathway❣️ If those boys want to make a pass for themselves they can make their own jumps and various hills with NOTHING to STOP THEM!! Last, I just want to say I don’t think you have anything to apologize for for the Oklahoma gathering. You are under a lot of stress as well as the Walker family and everyone else, The Cog Hill Family, (SO MANY OTHERS TO SPEAK AT THE OKEY EXPO), And you guys put so many hours of preparation into it ahead of time; you have so many gifts to give away for free… Fabulous gifts I must say; & so much to keep track of and a lot to do in a certain amount of time; I did not think you were anyone was grumpy and I’m sure there came a point when you were not only tired but hungry and a lot was writing on all of you to make it the best expo possibly. If people didn’t understand that, then that falls on them and not you and when I see you, I don’t mean just you Chad, I mean you as an all of you wonderful people who already work so hard on your farms but then start traveling down to Oklahoma and work again for the expo. I am so appreciative of everything you did and even though I didn’t get a make it , 😊♥️♥️ I SO VERY MUCH ENJOYED all of the SPEAKERS, right down to the very youngest one, weather a museum or not. I do follow a lot of these farmers and I just I’m so grateful for everything that was talked about and shared and I learned a lot and you guys pack so much into that weekend and I appreciate all of the time and efforts you guys put into The Oklahoma Expo~ It was AWESOME & so was EVERYONE REPRESENTED THERE~ NOT JUST FARMERS- Gardners, Builders, everyone I did not mean to imply farmers only. Hi Chad, Rea and boys. We were at the Expo and had the best time ever. We sat with you and Rea for a bit on Day 2, we are so happy for the both of you and all that the future holds for your new family. We are a tiny farm, only 3.5 acres (PetKat Acres) we have 2 Horses, 4 hens and a rooster. we have a Mountain Cur and an Australian Shepard they are greatest care takers of our animals. Of course we also have a cat that is the best Mouser ever ha ha ha. Sadly, for some reason, the Possum and Skunks think this is their farm this year. We enjoyed meeting your Dad as well, he is a hoot! Y'all did a fantastic job pulling off a massive Event and God willing we hope to make it out there again next year. We are still recovering from our Drive from Ky to OK and back, ha ha ha a lot of driving for us old folks in our 70's Wising y'all the best, God Bless from the Miller's
