“Eer van je werk” I like that there is more appreciation for decorative brickwork again, much better than the endless boring flat walls. There is a great tradition, and many options to do new things. Build it once, enjoy forever! That hardstone banding is also a nice little extra. You’re creating some real value here, lovely.

Hi there, nice videos 👍 I’m a New Zealand bricklayer taught by an old Dutch man. I’ve always used the Dutch trowels and pointers (saved my wrists and forearms). Great techniques 👍

@dutchbricklayers Yes spot boards instead of buckets. Traditionally bricks stacked on the floor and bigger bricks .not normally enough room to barrow the mortar on scaffold. Also your brick trolley we dont have. Your set up impressed me even down to your shovel size im trying to get one for us . Love each country does things differently. @brickrightbuildinglandscaping yes we have smaller trowels, they work better in combination with the buckets. Yes we also like it to see how other countries work. It looks like every country has their own way
