Kid napping a foreigner shows how bad and wicked such a country is.

If anyone cared to listen to the bike man, you'll hear him say he saw the pickup truck with the occupants talking to a group of men (must have been dressed like policemen). Then suddenly he heard a gunshot and saw the pickup truck suave and drove over the bridge, in an attempt to evade the gunmen. Rather than the Chairman speak directly at the security lapses and growing cases of kidnapping in his community, he was talking about the state of roads..

A responsible state government will take up the responsibility of safeguarding the lives of the citizens in the state rather than wait for federal funding at all times. After all, the bridge is in the state for the use of the citizens who reside in the state.

This is not a case of bad road, even though we have bad roads.. Why is no one talking about the security situation surrounding this report.. How did the foreigner die alone?.. Where are his security men?.. According to the eyewitness, he said there was an argument or confrontation with a gang and the police, although not clear.. Answers around this are required.. LG Chairman should speak to that..

For a Dutch expatriate to die as a direct result of security/safety lapse in another country is very serious. And instead of the so called Chairman to address this, he's talking about bad road. Who were these people dressed in police apparel? Were they actual police or impostors? And was Mr. Gibson the only occupant of the vehicle when it left the road? As usual it's one confusion after another with conflicting reports. Na wa for this country!

For me the lesson here is even if you are seating in the back seat, use seat belt! Because to me that's one explanation of how he was harmed but the driver and security detail who seat in front were not. He hit his head and passed out and drowned and because it was dark, the other people couldn't see what was happening to him to help. This is just a theory though.

What a country indeed. That bridge has claimed lives for decades. It has killed my friends whom were brothers from desame parents driving at night back to the University campus. Killed innocent commuters in a bus that claimed 16 lives that lost control on that bridge. The bridge is too tiny for more than two lanes only. Funny enough some reckless bus drivers try to over take on the entry of that bridge.

Imagine if this Road was in Lagos and this Port Harcourt Refinery was sited in one of the communities within, I tell you Mr. President will order that road to be done within 60 days and it will be done and he will personally come to commission the road and the Refinery because is in Lagos. Let Them continue doing what they are doing they have killed other states in the South South and South East just to make sure Lagos is the only functioning state where Headquarters , ports and Companies will be located.

This is not the first kidnapping attempt on this same bridge, just that to the best of my knowledge this is the first failed attempt... These Kidnappers have found this point as a good point to pick up high profiled citizens, and the Polixe are doing nothing about it. After the first two kidnapping at this point some police personnel were deployed to this point, instead of safeguarding the lives of people as supposed to, they took the avenue to extort minibuses drivers. Nigeria is just in a state of shit, and no one is talking about it. May the souls of the departed RIP 😢
