Great Video. I enjoy seeing your country and visited Rotterdam and Amsterdam with friends I have there 20 yrs ago. Nice to see the canals in the background. I watched a video about how incredibly efficient the Dutch are with using your land and how much food you export and it is very impressive. Every square metre is very valuable as it has to be reclaimed from the sea so yeah it is very interesting seeing your machinery and efficiency. We use multiple huge Fendt 9 combines in Saskatchewan Canada with 50 foot headers etc and have lots of agriculture and can learn from you.

Bedankt Jeroen.

1:25 🤦♀️ all that effort to get the tops of the hemp leading up that pathetic dump. Great footage my guy, keep it up!

Haha yes you raise a fair point I guess it is very difficult to see for the operator. Thanks a lot for your kind words.

Agrifoto the mistake is not for the operator it’s for the mechanic. A simple 100x250 RVS plate costing the client a mere 40 bucks would take care of this problem real quick. Either turn down the speed of the conveyor belt or create a barrier that prevents the material from falling over the edge. The current setup looks like a poor or speedy construction honestly. The operator is working the system he’s provided its not on him.

@@xSCHEF This machine has been in operation for a good number of years (there are lots of videos on KZbin). The problem is that the hemp leafs stick together especially when they are wet so its either everything or nothing. But things are being improved every year. There is now a completely new design which you can see in action in one of my other videos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rau4o36Gpbd3gJo

Your last linked video has trailers with a board that prevents spilling from the conveyor like I suggested. Even better would be a piece of rubber mounted 40cm from the end of the conveyor forcing the silage to drop straight down but I guess we can’t have everything in life can we. Sorry if I come off like a douche my job is in mechanization so watching these videos my mind runs around looking for improvements by default hehe Blijf zo doorgaan!
