Dutch firm evades paying Ksh.62B in palm oil import deal

Netherlands-based Louis Dreyfus Company (ldc) an agricultural commodities trading company with operations in Kenya as a trading and export of agricultural commodities is at the center of an importation and tax evasion storm. Documents seen by Citizen TV show that the company could have outwitted the taxman in a multi-billion importation of palm oil deal that saw them avoid duties and levies worth over 62 billion shillings.
