That's how I've been doing it for years and years... I have a bowline on the cordage for the stake end. I tend to keep the lines locked into the fleaz and just keep them w/ the tarp when I pack up (using tarp sleeves). I love that you don't have to leave the tarp shelter to hunker down if the weather turns or an adjustment needs to be made.

I use a fleaz attached to my D-rings with a spliced continuous loop of Lash-It, but put an in-line internal tarp tensioner into the Zing-it used with guy lines. Got the idea for putting shock cord inside the Zing-It from a Dutch video. Works a treat!

Excellent product and video!! I tried the tarp worms but threading the zing it through the hole in the tarp worm is nearly impossible plus no loops necc to hold them

I have fleaz attached to all my tarps and use different stakes with attached chords depending on the terrain. I think there are many advantages. You can do the adjustments from the inside and in case of snow the setup is a bit off the ground.

could I use this application on a tent for my rain fly?

Usually a storm hitting means getting out and tightening up the porch line. With these you can do it without getting wet ;)

Rofl I've been using them all wrong. I use them on my ridge line with the line around a tree anen pull tight around the antenna then around the wing and lock it off on the legs. You did it totally different. Both work I guess.

Love my Dutchware Bling. I have two tarps with Dutchware chords and attachments (been a while since I've used them, life happened). But I found out that I'm a tight pitch guy. I don't know if this is good or bad, but I find I like a very tight pitch. I do this with tents as well. So, am I wrong? I'd like some feedback.

I highly recommend them. Working out great for me. I've got a wasp on 2 of my ridgelines. And Dutches bling all over 2 of my tarps. Shock cord too.

Two issues here: 1. I’ve now got metal hardware wrapped up with my tarp when stashed; bad idea. 2. Fussier to use this method than Zpacks’ line locs larksheaded onto the D rings and 6’ of ZingIt as guy lines

I like to keep my fleas attached to my stakes. I run the line though the hole and attach the hook to my continuous shock cord loop on my tarp. That way one set of fleas and stakes will work for all my traps. I also dont have to worry about the fleas putting holes in my expensive tarps.
