Like everyone, Duchess & Cesar have good & bad qualities. The early seasons of Black Ink Crew showed us that & are some of the most authentic reality TV ever filmed, especially in the African American community. Duchess is bright & ambitious. However, she is also narcissistic (like most successful folks) & thinks highly of herself. She shouldn't have led Cesar on when it was clear she'd never marry him. She's nearly 30 with no kids & has her own business & masters' degree. In her eyes, he's beneath her bc he's an ex-thug with jail time, debt for child support, a kid out of wedlock & legal problems w/ his child's mother

I would love to believe her but what people are forgetting is that across 4 seasons of black ink, she has proven time and time again that she’s a liar and a very manipulative person with strong narcissistic tendencies. We’ve watched her say and do things on camera and then lie about it in the confessional and then lie about it in person, and she did it again here when it came to Sky’s son doing the interview in her shop. She throws stones, hides her hand, plays the victim and never apologizes or admits she’s wrong. No amount of editing can put words in your mouth. No amount of editing can make you do something you didn’t.
