Great video, Have you found a good way to paint dollar tree foam with paper on or when its pulled off.
@DutchRC2 ай бұрын
thank you :) I have actually simply spray-painted it (with paper on) but you need to spray it from a bit further away then you would really want, so that tjhe solvent doesn't get into the paper.. That works, but the foam will then not last for years anymore... (I used it on planes that don't last for years anyway ;) )

My Question heroes, when should I or when should I not remove the paper from the dollar tree foam board? Do most people leave it on and use colored packing tape to cover it? Any tips will help ...thanks
@DutchRC5 жыл бұрын
I think experimenting with it a bit yourself would help you get a good understanding of the pro's & cons of doing so.. In short: removing the paper will make the board a lot lighter, but it will allso remove most of the stiffness of the board..

Thats a pretty basic bend like cardboard, thats helpful. But, im looking for a convex curve like a shoulder or chest plate of armor.
@DutchRC5 жыл бұрын
thanks :) Regretably That isn't possible with the kind of board I used.. For a shape like that, you would need the foam to be able to Stretch, and paper can't stretch..
