Remember the Movie "Purge". This is the Real Purge. I respect this Man because he has a no nonsense approach on War on Drugs and Oligarchy. Filipinos have been lax for some long after People Power. Some may say He is like Ferdinand Marcos disregarding Human Rights and Due Process. Last time I checked you have lost your "human rights" with due process when you delved in or got involved and dealing with illicit drugs. As for Oligarchy, it is true. Politics and Business intertwined. Most Politicians are either majority owners of a conglomerate or part of its board of directors; they double dipped. As for detractors of Shoot to Kill Orders, there will be collateral damages (That is the Exception to the Rule) when waging war on any epidemic or crisis like drugs. If you are a law abiding citizen and nothing to hide, why be afraid? Others may say regulate and legalize drugs; this is not California, Colorado and other Western States or Amsterdam where Marijuana is legal for medical and recreational use, We are talking about Shabu or Meth. Meth> Marijuana. This Man doesn't play around and unfortunately we need people like him to combat Drug Cartels and Rogue Politicians or High Ranking Govt Officials. For so long the patients have been running the Asylum.

What if those people mentioned decides to submit themselves to the authority of the law and defend their persons before a court of justice? Pa'no pa mangyayari 'yon kung papatayin sila sa airport pa lang? I think the president should emphasize more on the majesty and power of the law of the land than make threats bordering on mob rule. OR he can just shut up and do what he wants to do with those people if he really wants his intention to prevail. I don't think threats or warning of imminent violence or death against suspected law violators should come from the president. I don't even think that it is the proper thing to do. Regardless of the prevailing mentality we are still a country of laws. Well, we're going backwards if we're going to have a "shoot to kill" policy. Also, a shoot to kill order doesn't mean you can just shoot. There is a process there; a requirement that would be supported by law to justify the act. Saying "rules of law doesn't exist" in the minds of drug lords does not justify extra-judicial killings. Killing does not equate with justice. You have a narrow view of what the issue is. The reason why we have laws is precisely because of criminals. You don't take criminals by becoming a criminal your self. You don't stop criminality by having a criminal mind. Very clear. : )
