Sir my question to you is , now the govtt will announce an amount for the affected families ,why the same amount can be spent for dredging and cleaning the canal or water bodies . For ex rs 2000 x N number of affected families , can be spent on desilting the drains

This year is a el nino year... But due to positive IOD ( Indian Ocean dipole) we expected a normal monsoon year... as per IMD report The cyclone michaung intensified , due to climate change... Usually these kind of extreme weather events will happen once in 100 year approx , but now the frequency of these EWE are increasing...
