Oh charley, I can relate to you on so many levels. I absolutely feel your pain and your loss. When you started to cry, I started to cry. I have been through that some process of having to put your beloved animal to sleep. I remember feeling so empty and sad but also relieved that my pet was at peace. I totally understand how weird it feels afterwards, but please know things will feel normal again and you will come to terms with this loss and feel peace again. I currently have a almost 2 year old dog and she has helped me with my anxiety and depression like I couldn’t have ever imagined. So again I can relate with you on that as well. Pets are such wonderful parts of our lives and they teach us so much about ourselves and show us such unconditional love - so for now I would say reflect on that.. reflect on the good memories you have of your dog and the maybe that gratefulness you have for all the support and love your dog has given you. And lastly do not feel bad about the donations you are asking for, I would ABSOLUTELY donate. You feel like a friend to me and like someone I can relate to and appreciate so that’s the least I can do since I live all the way here in Chicago 😊 Take care Charley! xx

Anytime hun... when my rats passed I felt the same way...like it wasn't real...they used to sleep on my stomach when I would read in bed with their heads in between the pages... I still miss them but I know that they were sick and it would not have been fair to keep them in such pain...one day I will get a new pair but I know that they are watching out for me
