9:30 Nice to see a Blenheim out and about. In the 1960s I was in the Air Training Corps in New Zealand. Our national Commandant was Wing Commander (Retired) Mel Innes-Jones, who joined the RAF in the mid-1930s and, at the outbreak of the war, was flying Blenheims. He said the casualty rate was so awful that within 15 months only he and another pilot were left of the original squadron strength. He said the Blenheim had a feature that saved his life one day - the turret could be retracted, giving the aircraft another thirty miles per hour. He was returning to England across the North Sea, flying at wave-top height with the throttles hard open and the turret retracted. The reason was two Me-110s chasing him and firing at him from extreme range - he could see the occasional cannon shell hitting the water ahead of him. With the turret retracted he was able to keep ahead of them long enough that they eventually gave up and turned back.

What for an unforgettable show, with 17 marvellous Spitfires flying together on the same time!! Also,The Rolls Royce Merlin engine sound is so beautiful! The feelings was very high,thanks for the British organisation! Well done!

I would dearly love to be able to attend this airshow! This superb video brings me as close to the real event as I will ever get. Did I see a Hawker Hart and Gloster Gladiator in this show or were those two aircraft Hawker Nimrods? Thank you very much for this great show! By the way, does anyone know where I could purchase a great Steak and Kidney pie and have it shipped to the USA?

A marvellous air show the Hurricanes and spitfire are great i like the B17 the Blenheim look good the flyby at the end was good all in all a very good film ( one criticism the propellers on the film are a bit slow though I'd mention it ) other wise a good film

you have totally the wrong setting and it looks stupid on the props, use a far slower shutter speed , looks like the engines have failed. ridiculous.
