In my province, BC, we would normally call those fries (or more formally, french fries). The single exception is when served with deep-fried fish portions. These may optionally be referred to as "chips" as part of the traditional fish & chip meal (the name of the meal however doesn't change). The Wikipedia lumps all North Americans into the "fries" camp. Perhaps it's inaccurate, but the US influence is strong in this respect. Here "chips" normally refers to what the British know as "crisps."

The BG music towards the beginning makes me feel it is an intro for a haunted hotel. just feedback.

Oh, wow, I really want to stay there now! That sirloin looks like it's cooked perfectly, so tender and juicy. Although, the mashed potato looks revolting. And wow, Thai green curry, one of my favourites! Both the desserts look heavenly!

For the quality of the room at 5 star, I wouldn't pay it; much better 4 and possibly 3 star hotels for the price, regards the mash; I'd say it's probably been made in the kitchen and stored for a day or 2, then heated up with some cream/milk. Seems to be the norm in restaurants nowadays, by the 3rd day you end up with tasteless bland mash.
