😂oh Amy I’ve been using that washcloth trick to cover bright lights in many resort rooms! Riviera’s microwave light is at an awful angle for sleeping too! Post-it notes work too!

RE Transportation, just spent 2 weeks at VGF. Monorail very frustrating. Very busy leaving VGF and they would cut the line off to send the monorail off even when there was lots of space in cars. To get back to VGF from MK takes forever, too many stops. The boat was great and I preferred to walk. 15 minute easy walk minus walking past the smoking section which was disgusting everytime, hold your nose

I love the comparison of picking the theme park view here over the boardwalk view at the Boardwalk but what I really want to know is would you pick the standard view here over the standard view at other locations like the boardwalk for those of us who don’t have the points to splurge on views and cover our whole trip

I absolutely LOVE you guys. You are so much fun and have such a great team~it takes a village and you are ALL awesome. Just curious of those in your group that have been to Aulani, would you stay at Poly Tower before going to whole way to Aulani? We're considering going to Aulani for the fourth time (from PA), but the flight is awful. You now have me thinking we should just try Poly Tower at the 7 month window just like I would for Aulani. Thank you for your kind words! Paul and I went Aulani in 2021 and we can’t wait to go back. It’s definitely the flight keeping us from going back as soon as we’d like. Poly tower and Aulani are still very different beast from each other. So I think the question is do you want a real Hawaiian vacation with the ocean and beach or do you want a Hawaiian themed hotel close to the parks? It sounds like you have experienced Aulani a lot so might be worth trying the Island Tower!

They should not allow people to get on the resort monorail at the TTC during the morning rush. That would help out big time for GF

It's a great new and clean Hotel. Not really a resort. Pool is regular, no lobby that stands out like Wilderness Lodge or Polynesian and not even a slide in the pool. Basically they plopped this thing in here because of location and to continue making money off rich families that can afford it. Glad we chose Wilderness Lodge for our February trip.
