Dvorak Symphony nr.9 - Heinz Wallberg part 1

Wallberg was a great conductor ,with real love for the music. Remember the Dvorak sessions very well. The symphony was combined with the violinconcerto. Recorded in the Nieuwe Kerk in the Hague in 1985....

I saw him with The Rotterdam Philharmonic about the same time with I think Mendelsohn's 4th Symphony.The audience was very impressed according to the endless encores afterwards.

plexihout Wallberg made several LP's with the Residentie Orchestra. To name a few: Beethoven 6, Schubert 3 and the very succesfull double lp ' history of the waltz'. All were released on CD. Hopefully they will be placed once on youtube also....

+otterhouse Volgens het internet zou je dat denken hè,LP.Maar het is toch echt een cd. Ik was er mee bezig met die andere delen,ik wachtte eigenlijk of er animo zou zijn.... :-) Zal eens kijken.

+plexihout Ja, want LP heb ik wel eens bij rommelmarkt zien liggen. Nooit meegenomen, ben nu wel benieuwd naar andere delen !
