I enjoy hearing actors of yesterday performing radio drama. I cant stop listening! The sound quality is perfect and that's rare for older productions. Many thanks!

What a wonderful story to broadcast in the first few weeks of this nightly show. No wonder they were able to stay on the air for many years. This one is now a favourite of mine and I thank you, Sir, for sharing it. ♥️♥️

Again Robert Dryden is sheer class, he- (in my humble opinion)-exudes a calmness in his voice whether he's being gentle or as the villain it makes no difference and Ralph Bell is of a similar ilk anyway enough of my Robert Dryden Groupie Society just to say "he's not too shabby!!!!" Good episode too!!

@@joemcdonald8293 Yeah ur right, he's got a great voice, I think nearly everyone on that series have great voices and that's why they were chosen for that show. The only one who irritates me a little is the woman- (can't recall here name)- who was in the episode were there on a dig in the jungle and they're all told not to touch anything lying around and this woman takes a ring. Also the head tribesman hates compliments and she tells him his son is fine and strong so he has to kill his own son as it's forbidden to be honoured in any way no matter how small and she's cursed by having to eat raw meat all the time!!! Well, that woman's voice is like fingernails on a blackboard in my opinion!!!! Let me no if you've heard that episode?

@Josie Iatomasi I'd never forget good ole Freddy Boy who- (as u rightly pointed out!!)- is or was a very good actor in front or behind the camera or microphone!! He had such a commanding voice and i bet a presence with actors plus he loved working on the stage where I'm sure he excelled!!?! I think the role of Lurch held him back thru his career as we've seen many, many times with other actors who've thru no fault of their own have been typecast with a role they've been in. What do u think of my summation? Great actor and an actor with a one in 5 billion voice that if of a certain age wud recognise literally anywhere, ur still missed Fred me ole mucker!!!!

I think this is a second performance of this. I've been listening to an older less quality version and it slightly different. I belong to a performance group and we're doing this live.
