I am so glad these radio broadcasts have survived. I remember listening to them live while camping outside. Around 1978. It scared the sh.. out of me.

Love this story. Love how in the end it there was a solution, a simple one in a way if only they had acted a bit faster or believed and were paranoid just enough to summon a priest. But ironically they didn't discover the truth in time. Sure there were parts where common sense should've made them go 'Oh if this has the name on it and they say this about him but these weird things are happening then the logical conclusion should be that this is happening and we need to do this.' My only complaint is that they did little to take major precautions even when they knew something was wrong. Still a good story with one of those rare endings that isn't the cheap solution of circumstance (I'm a pure virgin and no evil can harm me so I've broken your curse devil!)
