That’s the same thing that happened to me according to my parents. Spent a week at nicu, I was born with weak lungs, primary complex when I was a kid and had asthma every now and then but I’m 29 now so your baby will be fine. Look at me I’m a vet now.

Just to make you feel better, when i give birth din po last year, may sakit din baby namin, he needs to be in NICU for atleast 4 days he has oxygen din and something wires through his stomach, we left him din po after 36 hours kasi according ng doctor may gagamit sa room namin kaya sa bahay na ako nagpapahinga since I feel little better naman, by that time when i saw my baby that he is not okay I feel so bad but the worst thing is yun iniwan namin sya for couple days sa hospital kahit gusto ko mag stay sa hospital wala akong magawa kasi wala akong room to get rest, pero thank God may camera silang na set up and we can view him anytime we want through phone. I know you guy's how you felt pero be strong for baby kasi if sad si mommy and daddy ma raramdaman nila yun. Just to make you feel better super healthy ang baby ko ngayon and I hope and pray ganun din sana baby niyo. Keep more us update we will pray for you guys.

Congratulations. Just want to share with you the same condition of my niece. She was only 19 days old when she was diagnosed of pneumonia. Prior to her check up, we noticed that the baby has breathing problem. We took a video and send to her pedia. Upon the check up and xray result, we we're advised of the confinement of the baby. My niece was confined for 10 days to complete the antibiotics via IV. On the forth day we we're advised of the intubation of the baby but we refused as baby was given antibiotics. On the 7th day, there's a big improvement and the dextrose was removed. Our baby is now in good condition. All praise and Glory to God. We will include your baby and wifey in our daily prayer for fast recovery and complete healing. Stay safe and keep well. God bless

Same thing happened to my baby I was on my 8th month when I was forced to have a CS coz from the check up the baby inside my tummy is having irregular heartbeat. After I gave birth he was rushed straight to the NICU, two tanks of oxygen were used and I had to say my heart broke seeing my little baby with all those injection, and suction and all the tubes, pneumonia rin ung sakit, but God is good he survived, after 2 weeks he was sent home. Now he's already 12 years old, very intelligent and healthy BIG boy. God will always provide, God is our healer. To God be the glory.

Ako din po noong new born ako meron daw po akong pneumonia pero naging okay naman daw po gumaling din and hindi na bumalik, since bata pa ko mahina na po talaga lungs ko, almost every month before I hit puberty sobrang hikain ako tas sobrang payat ko, pero ngayon di na po ganun ka severe yung asthma attacks and unlike before na sobrang sikip po paghinga ko every attacks. My baby went through the same as your baby. My baby was diagnosed with Meconium Aspiration Pneumonia and was intubated due to fast breathing. She was in the hospital for 15 days and went through a lot. LEGIT A LOT OF SACRIFICES. As a parent it was really tough for me “pwede rag ako ayaw lang gyud ako anak”. 23 years ago, parang ganun din yung baby ko, mas malala pa nga. Almost 2 months sya sa hospital kasi may meconium sya. Sa awa ng Diyos at super power ng dasal, na well and healthy na sya. My sister had the same health issue as well when she was born, we transferred her from East Avenue to National Children's Hospital, they are really good as well. Apparently, Pneumonia is commonly associated with COVID 19. You should have your baby tested and both of you be tested as well.

Parang Ganyan nangyari sa baby ko. And worse Pneumonia din nangyari sa baby ko. nilagyan din ng tube and ung isang tube for oxygen. 13 days naka confine ung baby ko. And Thankfully okay na siya and he is 3 months old now. God is Good talaga just pray. 😇❤️🙏🏻

@@lorevicmalintad7183 I know, but still that door need to be cleaned and disinfected. The word "sosyal" is not really the point here. We are licensed medical professionals and we know the word "nosocomial infection." Prevention is better than cure! Am I right? When I brought up that dirt at the door is not to put the hospital or their staff down, but to bring it to their attention, specially during this pandemic. Better be safe than sorry.
