@@totalwarbattleclips When it came to the end with all of the Dawi air support, I thought that perhaps Kislev or The Empire would send in cavalry of some kind as a last ditch effort to turn the tide; either like the bear riders or the demigryph units. But having the dwarf air support show up was a huge and needed breath of reinforcements, ha ha. (I could only think of the boys in the movie Predator flying in as support, chewing and spitting hard, all the dawi being a bunch of sexual tyranosaurs. Lol.)

This is far more then just zooming in on random parts of a battle. There is real blocking and cinematography at work here. I could only imagine how much time and patient it took to get everything to move and for things to happen at just the right time. It's really impressive considering how much RNG there typically is in the game. 16:41 this moment in particular amazes me. great angle on the slayer getting up, and then a perfect cue with dwarves getting knocked away in the background and the toad dragon coming in, all happening within the same exact frame. who knows how many attempts it must have took to get that kind of perfect shot.

Better choregraphy and storytelling than most medieval battles. These days all Hollywood can have them do is run at each other in big mobs and then brawling without anything resembling formations or tactics. Here the battle has a flow and a story. You really feel the "Oh shit" moment when Kayzl sweeps in from the flank, understanding why the dwarfs are fucked if nothing is done. Great stuff.

Lots of great moments. My favourite in particular was the Hammerer realizing he wasn’t dead after the apocalyptic charge from the toad dragon, picking up his hammer and saying “not done yet” before charging back into the fray. This is largely a personal preference as Hammerers lore wise are some of my favourite Dawi units and I feel like they get slept on, so watching them hold the line made me happy.
