Dwarves vs Zombies: Blindness

Dwarves have 2 days to build the most amazing dwarf fortress ever known to protect their shrine. Then the dragon comes and kills the weak. All dwarves killed become zombies who come back to kill all the other dwarves.
OldManWillakers has awaken from his longer slumber, put on his old man slippers, and started to fix his game again. A bunch of us MindCrackers got together to play some more Dwarves vs Zombies.

Sad DvZ died out. I remember watching a lot of PauseUnPause wishing I had Minecraft as a kid lol. He used to be getting 2-3 million views per DvZ vid and now he's down to a few thousand a video. I hope somebody can bring it back sometime, this game mode made my childhood.

I'm surprised a server like Hypixel hasn't ever adopted this type of game mode yet. I remember watching these when they came out and thinking they were the best vids ever. A tower defender with classes that you build yourself with dozens of others. It's why I love bloons td and civ type games. But in minecraft. Can't believe I have watched almost every etho video he has released. Even when my love for minecraft would drop and re appear, I'd still be watching etho. Over halfway through 2022, 1 month away from my 23rd birthday, just signed up more college courses for the semester, and got work tomorrow. This little series along with project ozone are my ultimate comfort watches. No quick edits or super high energy, just a constant stream of chill easy to watch content. Probably gonna rewatch and fall asleep to project o zone after this. I remember etho hitting 250k and I wish him all the best.

It's because of the game they are playing when you get outside of a certain light level you get the blindness effect so that you can't see anything, to make lighting more necessary

Wouldn't a good (and realistic) strategy be to build a huge moat? That way any creepers coming wouldn't damage the walls... (or at least rarely damage them). Or did OMW make it so water doesn't stop explosions from destroying blocks?
