I lost my Dad when I was 3 and my Mom passed when I was 15, so I can truly understand what The Rocks Dad was feeling towards him. No guidance or anyone showing you the ways of life and having to learn everything yourself can be very lonely and emotionally draining. In the end you have anger and a tough skin towards others and can't show your true feelings the way you want too, because you've never experienced a full life of loving Parents that would be there no matter what. Being alone can be very damaging to your psychological well being imo...I wish to this day that I had Parents to guide me to be the man I am supposed to be today. A lot of emotions and tears watching this....

my parents and i have had lots of arguments, and they have both hurt me without even realizing the things they were doing were damaging. They have let other people hurt my siblings and I. But I am still thankful for them, because I know that they love us and that they do what they truly think is best for us. I'm sorry man, not because I think you are weak and that this is something that you can not survive, but because I can't imagine how hard it is and I hate that you've had to go through this. Dwayne didn't exactly get from his dad what he most desired, his love spoken to him in words, but he learned from that and now gives his daughter the emotional love he so much wanted from his dad. Several actors don't like him. They find him overbearing, but Dwayne turned out to be a pretty decent human being, I love all of his movies so far, specially when Kevin Hart plays in them with him. Seems like most famous people had a hard life and childhood. Some of them are terrible sad, but they overcame them with hard work. I lost my Dad when I was 2 and my Mom and i wasnt close so I can truly understand what The Rocks Dad was feeling towards him.

I have always liked Dwayne Johnson. I was never into wrestling or anything but when he started to Branch out do other things is when I noticed him. He seems to be this really super kind man, there's just something about him that draws me to him. I think it's the energy that he puts out it's just so positive and uplifting.

The most impressive thing that make the ladies' sigh is Dwayne The Rock, on a video here on KZbin, sitting with his tiny little sweet daughter and he's letting her paint his fingernails with red polish. Now THAT is a real man! Any real father understands this. Just because you're male doesn't mean you're a real man and being a real man is also being so tender to a little girl who wants her daddy to play with her on her terms. Thus red polish on his nails. Dwayne The Rock Johnson? _Oh yeah, he is a real man._

Hollywood is a falling dictatorship. When dictatorships fall they start attacking those who are part of them. But they will not change. They just sink deeper and deeper as they go on falling, because their leaders have become desperate because they lost all the followers. In Hollywood, if you are broke you stay broke until someone helps you out.

@@keyoglacier4473 My point exactly. I'm married to a man somewhat like the Rock. He's super strong in every way, but with our two daughters he has always been tender and loving and nurturing. From living with an abusive father who hated me (literally put a loaded gun to my head once) and as we locked eyes I saw his struggle - to pull the trigger or not to pull the trigger. His eyes told me everything I needed to know. I vowed to get out of that house as soon as possible or I'd be dead. Once he knocked me over backwards in my chair, hit my head on the floor, knocked out and awoke to see his cowboy boot cocked back to kick me in the head. My mother intervened or I would not be writing this. It took me three tries at finding a good man and found one. That's the man who sleeps next to me at night and who gets down on the floor to play with our youngest daughter. *He is my rock.* He is awesome. He snores pretty loud, but I can live with that. ;-) lol

Dwelling on the hard times can be bad - if you're in a bad place. I just lost my job @ one of the largest tech companies on the planet - and someone flipped me off in a car, I was doing nothing wrong. When @ a red light I jumped out of the car & wrecked 3 guys' faces (couldnt get to #4). Afterwards, I was scared to death I was going to jail, and had to explain to my wife why my hands were bloodied. Wont do that again...

It's always amazing to see how the old proverb is always true: adversity makes you stronger. So many of the true superstars, who have really accomplished something, come from troubled a childhood and/or youth.

If there is a slight chance for Dwayne to ever read this one in a billion i would like him to know this. No matter what happened to you , no matter how hard it was , despite how many times you said "oh no , not again" or even "why me"? in the end you managed to pull this out and i would say quite nicely too . Yeah you had rough times i get it and you didn't think you will eventually make it through but ...Look at you now bro ! Whatever happened to you sculptured your character in a way to be a wonderful guy , triggered in you changes that drove you through stuff in life and now you are a succesful person with a great heart , fame and recognition around the globe ! I wish i had the 1/10 of your charisma and will and "escape" from my boring life . Others icluding myself never made it so feel lucky and blessed bro ! My sincere condolences for your loss . I admire you a lot !
