Wally West is probably one of the more well known versions of Flash, he was the Kid Flash, and in the popular and well known Justice League cartoon he was the main version of the Flash used. As for Sonic...yeah..Archie Sonic has some..rather OP moments that put stuff done in the games to shame. Archie Comic's version of Sonic was super long running and so has quite a number of feats to draw from just like Wally..expect to hear some crazy stuff about Sonic that if you've only seen the SatAM Sonic show, the Sonic X anime, or played the games..you didn't think Sonic could do. Also..fun fact, in one dimension hopping volume Sonic went to an alternate world where everything was like a Japanese Tokusatsu show..he and his heroic allies were based off of the Gatchaman characters..if you don't know who those are..look up Super Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. Also for those who don't know what Tokusatsu are, Power Rangers/Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Ultraman..stuff like that.

On shoto forgiving his dad, I've had a number of close friends and even my current gf who grew up with abusive parents. I don't pretend to understand what that's like but they all have said they would forgive them if they got a genuine apology because they just want a chance at a real relationship with them. I imagine Vacuum, Shroud and Weather bending, as well as and instant flight, would be part of the Air Bending skill tree. Vacuum bending would moving emptiness of space around like a fluid (for maximum succ), and Shroud-bending, can make the surroundings clear or hazy, depending on whatever air is available (clouds are also bendable). Weatherbending summons storms, natural tornados (not requiring their own bending) or clear skies wherever. Heat bending could also be an optiion when the temperature of ther air being bent would be bent as well. In cannon: Water-benders get Ice, Blood, and Swamp bending Earth gets Metal bending and an op radar sense Fire gets Lightning (where loosing and redirecting are seperate) and Lava bending as well as blue fire.

Fun fact: The episode was originally meant to have aired earlier in the first half of season 7 but technical difficulties led to it getting delayed to the second half. This actually changed the result of the fight as without the delay, Zuko was planned to win thanks to what was assumed to be an insane speed gap but recent feats from the MHA manga closed the gap enough for Todoroki to take the win.

I think the reason for no subcategory powers for airbending is due to the fact that airbending was primarily for fun and done by monks. It's a peaceful element in a sense so it's not meant to contort things, but also wasn't there very few Airbender in Korra as well?? I just don't think there was enough to build upon for airbending to develop a subcategory skill.

idk if anyone has pointed this out but that's not just sonic that's the sonic from archie comics who is one of the most op characters i know. He once ran across 1,000 universe's going over 16 trillion times light speed, reacted and beat his own shadow in a pico-second and when super sonic and hyper knuckles bumped into each other they accidentally destroyed a whole zone which is roughly the size of our own milky way just to name a very small number of his feats i'm genuinely surprised there using this sonic

Alright Shoto should’ve won as soon as he used his heavenly piercing ice wall especially since if it didn’t freeze Zuko it would’ve most def killed him Besides Zuko could never produce flames as hot as shoto. That scene where his flame contestes Shoto’s giant wall? Such bs not even Aang or any avatar really could do something like that (from what we’ve seen). One of the thing that differs ATLA from real anime is that even tho you can be strong as hell in ATLA, anime basically gives the character no limits. I think air bending is over powered and here is why. Fire needs air to survive. Also, dont say lightning since it needs to travel threw air. Water is made up of hydrogen and oxygen, which are gases, which is air. Also, you dont need to control somebody with blood bending when you can control the air in their body ( blood carries oxygen which is a form of air). Earth is difficult tho since the only thing i can really say is that it has air pockets. Also, erosion can be caused by wind.
