As a chinese, I was disappointed in the crowd. Look at how the koreans cheered for IG in 2018. I felt really bad for Damwon when they lifted the trophy to silence, they probably worked really hard to get there only to win in front of thousands who weren't supportive of them. Props to damwon for not letting it affect their gameplay. If they lost, I would've attributed it to psychological factors rather than skill based ones. Really hope future finals will have live audience cheering for both teams.

UK if the China crowd wasn't this disrespectful, and the opening ceremony wasn't so bad, I would have felt more hype watching this series, cause it genuinely was a close series(until game 4). I remember last Yr, even tho Fpx was getting kills, EU fans were cheering for them. But here, unless it's China winning, the crowd is completely silent. I would like to see an analysis on how Damwon systematically dismantled their opponents. These guys just don't have the ballsy confidence, but also the perfect understanding and analysis of the situation on the rift. Everytime the casters in Damwon's match casts, I always hear the "They are one step ahead of their opponents". I mean G2 definitely made EU a bit more of a threat. But G2 was always a major region. Consistently making Quarter Finals and Semi finals at international events, especially worlds, 2019 and 2018 they made it to the finals? And many years before that, even before the current g2 line up, teams often made it to semi finals and competed. EU is a major region, and there has been a threat of them winning worlds for more than a few years. 2015 FNC could have won, 2018,2019,2020 , all years that a EU team was a very big contester for worlds cup. Yes G2, like DWG is so far ahead of their peers, but most often the 1st seed is, doesn't mean the rest of the region is bad. You also got to remember G2 finished like 4th or 3rd in the playoffs, and won LEC through the knockout stages.
