Orlando made the right decision during the 2004 draft.

crazy Dwight is 22-23 in this year. Basically a 1st ballot hall of famer from 20-28. Imagine if dwight stayed like this till 33-35.

Howard was a Monster here over Okafor, its sad that Emeka wasn’t able to show his A-Game to contain and match his rival Dwight.

Emeka was never good enough to rival Dwight. And at this point Dwight was a top 3 player in the world.

Emeka was a let down in the nba

He was a bust.
@nonyobussiness34407 ай бұрын
@@bumblebity2902 he was a double double for almost a decade but he didn’t have the impact like he did in college. Part of it was he was a face the basketball player with sf type game but the nba at the time wanted pf to be back to basket post scorers. Also the early 2000 rule changes killed back to the basket post plays. 2000’s was the deepest and best of decade ever but coaches and GM’s were slow to realize most pf and centers had offensive success playing facing the basket, stretching, pnr dunks, moving around off ball cutting and rotating to shoot mid range jumpers or get an easy layup. Really odd to think about when you look at the best bigs of that era and look at when they were their offensive best, none were posting up back to the basket do to the defense rule changes including Tim Duncan. Dwight, Shaq and Zac Randolph had the best back to the bask game but back to the basket didn’t yield their best games. Emeka made a lot of money, was a great role player and was very educated, high iq, academically elite, well read, graduated in 3 years from UConn business with cum sum, cum laude with a bs in finance. So he was able to invest his money and make bank. He also got big nba contracts to teach teams players finance and how to train and act, so his game stats were not what was getting him those contracts.

What was Dwight Howard's best season in Orlando?
@TheStatisfiedOne Жыл бұрын
I think his 2008-2009 season. Avg 20.14 with 1 steal and 3 bpg with only 35.7 mpg. Magic had a 59-23 record and went to the finals wich they eventually lost to Kobe and the lakers
@kingmar11374 ай бұрын
2011 was his best year imo, he finished 2nd in MVP voting and averaged 23 14 with 3 blocks. He played great in the playoffs too just ain’t get far.

Before the back injuries man Dwight was incredible. One of the best defensive players of all time period. No one even wanted to drive the lane with Dwight down there
