Having a physical dominant 5 really unlocks AD offensively. Like a running back with a good blocker, it just allows AD the confidence to go 100% without getting hurt. It doesn't make AD weak, it's just that he's not a Shaq, and just because he's 6'10 and strong, people expect him to be a 5, and he can do it part-time, but that's like using Steve Nash as a shooting guard since he can shoot. Pelinka! We need a strong physical center to punk/push Jokic around, and we're good. A reliable shooter like Danny Green wouldn't hurt.

Such a pioneer and winner! Dwight really did a great job of getting Jeanie's perspective and details of Lakers history I've never seen. Bravo~ Tangentially, nothing personal, but I'm so glad Jeanie gave Mitch and Jim that time limit to deliver. Btw, staring five easy: Magic, Kobe, LeBron, Kareem, Shaq.

In this situation it means they did not do enough to keep him when they easily could have and let him go somewhere else when he wanted to stay in LA. He even posted he was staying in purple and gold then deleted it and signed in Philly. So yeah the Lakers let him go somewhere else when they could have easily kept him to defend the Championship. He only signed in Philly becuase he was told the Lakers did not want him back. Howard- "I was sad. I wanted to come back and I don't know what happened" Jeanie- "You took an offer from the Philadelphia 76ers" Howard- "Because what I was told was that you guys didn't have an offer for me.

Sure. Only thing is, I wouldn't be trusting everything she says. because she is lying a lot of the time, especially on some of the more critical parts. I feel for Dwight because he deserved far better treatment than what he received and he certainly deserved to be treated with a great deal more respect. She did this podcast, not as a favour for Dwight, but for her own benefit, so she can spin a story that absolves her from involvement in any of the decisions. She is gaslighting us. Listen closely to what she was saying , especially the part regarding Dwight's contract or lack thereof. What she is saying, to the reality that played out do not match up. Her words, the explanation, to their actions are in opposition to each other. Her story does not add up it doesn't make sense,, and that, is the achilles heal of gaslighting.

Trust me all these guys wanted to get paid after the 2020 championship . What people also forget was that Montrez Harrell became immediately available after the Clippers fallout, so I think Lakers had an offer for Dwight but it got pulled since they could get Trez. Rondo got paid. Green got traded for DS. They got younger and you can't blame Rob for that. That 2021 team would've won if AD didn't get hurt in the playoffs.
