Ma'am please guide me, meri advance tax ki liability ban rahi thi joki maine 15 march ko sab pay kar diya, par 15 march k bad pata laga ki merko aur bhi tax dena hai ab kya karu? Intrest vagera kis hisab se calculate hoga and main baki ka tax kaise pay karu? Please help.

As per Act, minimum 90% of your total tax should be paid as advance tax, If not paid then Interest rate @ 1% per month will be charged, for the remaining amount which is not paid. When you will file ITR, system will automatically calculate tax liability and interest rate amount, carefully check the amounts while filling ITR (before final submission) If system doesn't calculate automatically then you have to calculate interest @ 1% and to be paid while filling ITR form. It is advisable to fill the ITR as soon as possible to avoid more interest. And if amount is higher then consult any CA
