What's important now is Assad's regime is gone and prisoners were release. Syria is now in transition period. Let's not judge because we are not judge. Let's give Syria a chance to feel and enjoy a peaceful life.

A horrid regime is finally over. Though there is uncertainty there can be finally hope in that tormented land and the people who call it their home. Are there dangers ahead? Of course, the future is in flux and we don't know where it could lead. But for that very same reason the future can be bright, and if we act smart, if we play our cards rright to peacefully guide the people's genuine hope and energy towards a better, prosperous democratic future we will start to restore stability in that region and gain a very useful ally. Now is the time to act smart, doing so is a win-win.

You are FREE to express your view so long as they are JUST TRUE and KIND. you will be prosecuted if they are not. The problem is how do you know if the word are JUST TRUE or KIND? or do you subscribe to the nom of " you are free to express your view as long as they aligned to mine"? Freedom of express ia fraught with danger. But it must be express and protected. Best if the expression is in the form of a question. NObody should take offense to a QUESTION.

Iraq is better without Saddam, which invaded Kuwait, started a war with Iran and gassed and brutalized his own people namely of other tribes. But the situation is not even comparable. Saddam was brought down by the US with some regional support, and Syria was taken down by HIS OWN PEOPLE who fought there for almost 15 years. Israel could at any time destroy that regime, but didn't get involved. Turkey was much more invovled and yes, if Israel didn't destroy Hezbullah, Assad would still be in control, but that's Hezbullahs fault. No one made them join Hamas on Oct 7 shooting thousands of rockets. You play with the big league don't cry when you lose.
