As limited as you were with the "short" tractor, it seemed to work out really good. As I said before... well done!

And by the way, I'm really looking forward to watching your timelaps video of he garage and/or the house build, thanks. I figured your daughter was helping out with the video work too.

Hey man! I love your videos! I just discovered your channel and I’m watching your garage building videos. How much do you think you paid from start to finish for your garage? And how much more do you think you would’ve had to spend if you had someone build for you?

Some day when I get finished I plan on doing a video all about the cost, but until then my estimate to this point is about $42,000. Realize that includes some stuff that I consider to be extra, like. The PEX air system, also there is a lot more wiring than you would typically find in a garage this size, more lights more plug in’s, more 220 plugs. Upgrades garage doors and openers the two doors and openers where $4,800. I did get two builders to give me quotes, the first one was just to do the shell, no doors or windows, that was $46,000. Then when I got the second quite I had him add everything that I wanted his estimate was $63,000 and that price was subject to change, due to the extent of stuff that I wanted added. Hope that helps

If you had to buy your tractor again, would you buy a bigger one, more horsepower, or are you satisfied with it? Good video and a time lapse would be interesting to see.

Well that is a hard question to answer. I wanted a larger tractor and it turns out that there have been many times that I could have used a much larger tractor. However the size that I got has been able to do everything that I wanted, it just takes a little longer sometime. I have been considering looking into buying an excavator. Also I have many attachments for my L3200 that make is more useful to me. IM going to post a few videos this winter about some mod to the tractor and a few adjustments to the attachments that need to be done.If i was going to get somehting bigger i think it would be a Dozer or an Excavator.Well that is a hard question to answer. I wanted a larger tractor and it turns out that there has been many times that i could have used a march larger tractor. How ever the size that i got has been able to do everything that i wanted, it just takes a little longer sometime. i have bben consideering looking into buying an excavator.

I've been curious about your experience with the building inspector. #1- Do they offer any reading materials on county codes etc.. #2- Do they simply just inspect or are they willing to answer questions and give advice? #3-While present on your property to inspect..let's say your garage..what if they notice something else on your property that wasn't done correctly by a previous homeowner. That's one of my concerns..That during my core project the inspector will start bringing things to my attention that I DON'T EVEN WANNA KNOW ABOUT right now. So do they focus on what they came to inspect only? #4- Approximately how many times did a building inspector come out to your garage build? #5- How do they charge (per visit? per project?) Maybe I should look up building inspectors HAHA..but I am curious to hear about your personal experience too.

#1 In Kitsap county WA there are some building information pamphlets at the court house where yon apply for permits, they are kind of helpful. But I found that for general building information the internet and KZbin was my go to. #2 They will only inspect when I asked for information the very first time that I had one show up he was very clear that they will not provide any information as it could make them liable. #3 I have a large retaining wall about 50’ from my garage, that I did not permit I was concerned that they would say something about it, but it never came up. It became very clear that they really only looked at stuff that was on the inspection sheet. #4 in Kitsap county when you apply for building permits they give you and inspection card, that has very clearly defended inspections on it. For example, there is a framing inspection, and a foundation inspection, there are a few others also for my garage there was a total of 8 inspections. #5 when you apply for the permits there a charge. For my garage, the charge was $916.25 this included all of the inspection as long as I passed the first time if I failed witch I did on one of them there is a fee for respect of the same thing. The bellow link might help. www.kitsapgov.com/dcd/forms/DocumentLibrary/brochures/Residential%20Bldg%20Permit%20Guidelines.pdf#search=permits
