Reminds me of my friend calling me drunk talking about how much he appreciates me and our mates, which would be really sweet to hear, y'know, if it wasn't at 4 am while I was slightly hungover from the couple cans I drank. And because he was drunk he was slobbering his words all over the place. All I could make out from the call was something like "...man you guys, you and (friend) and (friend) are f***ing great, yeah" and he kept trailing off. The call lasted less than a minute and I thought I was getting a call from some stalker or someone coming over to murder me, went back to sleep anyways. But checking the call history in the morning and I see my friend's name at 4 am. Weird, funny, but we love him, really good mate. Best kind of friend, calls you while drunk out of his mind to say he appreciates you. And maybe covers his phone in scotch a few hours after and now have to buy a new phone.
