Man even pass his prime his game was beautiful. The IQ and no wasted moments that’s special and what separates good from great. A lot of stars today won’t be as good or efficient as Wade was at this age when their athleticism is gone. Well we are witnessing Westbrook now not adapting to his older body

So fun to watch. The cutting, the steals, the mid range monstrousness, the way he use screens, the IQ. My favorite player growing up.

For some reason Wade wasn't able to deliver against the Spurs in the round right after. Perhaps chemistry issues with Bron

The Spurs were denying Wade his midrange and essentially playing great defense all around. When you go to the finals 4 years in a row, your an easy team to scout for and popovich did an incredible job disrupting Miami’s small ball offense.

Even this series he wasn’t the same Wade we saw in the Big 3’s first years. He didn’t even average 20 ppg technically over this entire series. What championship team today is going to have their second scoring option average less than 20? Unfortunately by this time Wade had already aged.

@@dazzlingemerald5680 2 teams playing physical and great defense and wade had 54% fg% and 46% 3p% against the best defense in the league

He wasn't prime wade no more but it was more of the fact that all the game managing caused him to run out of gas. He played decent here in the ecf but q motivated Spurs team were determined to win. Even if Wade was in '11 form they'd have a tough time winning. Spurs were that motivated that year after '13's disappointment

@@julianowilliams3263 that’s only part of it, his knees betrayed him right in front of his own eyes and there was nothing he could do, LeBron threw in the towel as he knew the series was over after 3 and that spurs team was a juggernaut of an offense, a well oiled machine

@Mateo Fabik Key word..Watching! There are things that don't show up on the stat sheet that you are not able to read. You can't read the difference between entertainment marketing vs real basketball. Had LeBron not been chosen to be marketed as the face of the sport + plus the league not controlling the outcome of his career. He and kobe would be amongst the worst players you can have on a mens professional team.
