I'll give Takara $100 just on complexity of the tranformation and accessories, but the markup beyond 300 is totally unreasonable.

Great 👍🏼 choice. You got him for a good price. With taxes I paid almost 300. Really like him and a much cheaper alternative to Fanstoys. The small details like the pistons on the knees and elbows are a great touch.

I've got this on order from showz right now. I put my FTs one in base mode, and have Autobots all over him for a display, and love it, so I needed a second version. I think I'm getting it for about $245, so I can't complain about that. Take care Sony.

Omega supreme is the only exception to the entire G1 line it was designed to be a display piece as well as something for kids to play with but the exception A big supreme came out probably within the 2nd to 3rd seasons somewhere around 1986 I believe it also had a very large price tag attached it was over $100 retail somebody said that the initial MSRP was over $200 making it the most expensive transformer of the line The original omega supreme actually had a motor in it that would go all the way around the track and very extensive transformation almost a dozen pieces altogether very time consuming to transform definitely for display purposes you almost had to buy 2 and keep one transformed in in keep one as the space station

Both are good options, I prefer dx9 but never had fanstoys so I can't say. Dx9 is cheaper and easier to transform if those are concerns for you.
