I think we have all just gotten so used to seeing backpacks on figures that when a bot doesnt have one, it just looks wrong. I felt the same way with the titans return kup from hasbro

I think the skinny aspect of the DX design of the Stunticons is not bad, as these Stunticons are masters of speed attacks instead of strength and tactics. Those were the realms of the Combaticons

I am getting the XTB Stunticons (and FT) but gotta say, this transformation is pretty sweet. Intuitive, simple enough, no anxious moments, neat tricks like the head pegs and the covering of the grills, etc. Impressive.

You're killing me, Bobby! I am committed to the XTB Stunticons because THEY look the right size to me for the bots and cars. But this DX9 versions are cool! Anorexic Henry is still cool despite being so skinny. I may have XTB in their bot modes and DX9 in combined mode. But I think the XTB will be just as tall as the DX9, or just a hair shorter.

These DX9 Stunticons need to be seen next to a MP Starscream and Robot Hero Starscream in the next DX9 Stunticon video! I think the OS Seeker would be necessary in this case if one plans to use these stunticons in robot mode. However, the catch is if one does that it might have a long ripple effect. As a result, I think this set should be confined strictly to just apart of Menasor form unless one has an OS collection. I would like to see Robot Hero which I think is around 12 inches next to some 20 inch zeta combiners in the video as well. I'm sure there are some collectors out there with their MPP10 or MP-01 who might like this DX9 stunticon set a lot since its basically an OS MP scale.

Hi, Bobby! You have a playlist for DX9 Transformers, but this video of Henry (Wildrider) in not on that list. I had to do a search to find it. I just want to say that this is one of my favorite KZbin channels (even though I don't collect Transformers 3rd party figures, it fulfills a place inside of me from growing up with the cartoon and toys), and I'm planning on becoming a Patreon subscriber here very soon.

Kinda wished if they were to do a legends build a figure it would of been Shockwave for the gun mode, Orion Pax just seems like an odd choice

I'm with you on that. If they're gonna do Orion Pax he should be MP sized. If they want a legends size figure to go with Menasor, it should be Megatron.

What happened to the driver's side ide view mirror? It's a bummer that he only holds the gun in his right hand, and it looks funny where the handle is, I feel like it should be a little ways farther back. Not horrible, but not great either. I'm sticking with XTB.

Do you think these will scale with Zeta? i really need a stuntacon set in my life, but Zeta has spoiled me, kind of wish everyone made a parts-forming mid section, it feels like the right way to do it, and when you think about it, a combinor is just one big parts forming piece anyway.. maybe Faaaans toys is going to take cues from zeta there.

I like the transformation ideas, I like the hand posability (especially the MP Sunstreaker style thumb to stop stressful MP weapon insertion) and I'd be on-board with trying unpainted diecast wheels (although I think the cast needs the vent holes in it to look good) - you can get aluminium Scalextric wheels for the high-end enthusiast and I think that might be a better material (but much hotter to cast with). I will watch with great interest whether these become trends in the 3P MP game...

Great review. Mine has a bobble head too. I think also this effort was superior to their Breakdown. BDs waste irks me. But they look great together. I'll be getting Dead End and I'm out. Not interested in the other two at all and the combined mode scares me. Thanks for zee vid Skullz!!💀🙊

Honestly for me the first two DX9 Stunts haven't been feeling it for me simply due to how lean their torsos are while their forearms and legs are fairly bulky...

MEH, FT is way ahead of them as they tend to put parts for other figures being sold in other boxes so you'll have to buy those other toys as well! LOL! Awesome review as usual, Bobby!
