Phenomenal video. I know that everyone's already said that, but that's just 'cause it's true. I'd be curious what your thoughts are on Ironsight as that's been the title I go to when looking for the cheap thrills Call of Duty ordinarily satisfies. I enjoyed my time with Black Ops IV, but always sensed nagging issues laying underneath and haven't played in months as a result; this brought all of them to light. I'm glad it let you enjoy games outside of the "Comp" environment though. That was me with Halo's 2&3, and I missed out on a lot of things as a result.

Exactly my point, MP, and Blackout are just trying to “Cash Grab” on already popular games, Battle Royales, and Games like overwatch where, playing as a team rather then solo is the only way to even have a chance at winning, which was the worst idea they had. I Rather play ANY previous COD multiplayer, and I would also rather play campaign over BRs. BO4 has 1/4 playable game modes that no one can deny is the zombies mode, you can’t fuck up zombies that bad, is BO4 zombies different from previous games? Yes! But it’s still playable therefore zombies to me is the best game mode in BO4 and anybody who disagrees is a very big sweaty player on MP, Blackout, and League Play!

@ThatGuyWhoTypesWhileBreathingHeavyWithAFedora ! yeah that's the thing, take the kn-57 for example, without attachments, it's somewhat balanced, but as soon as you unlock rapid fire, it becomes completely different and overpowered, because it still has no recoil. Same thing with the rampart with no attachments vs one or both of the high calibres 🙄 adding the double attachment addition in COD absolutely wrecks the class creation in my opinion, because you can't just have a fun class anymore, because you can't even compete, making the double attachments necessary

It is quite disappointing, especially the amount of jumpshotting because it completely throws the aim assist/hit boxes off, so they are that much harder to hit. My tip for the rampart would be to take each corner slow and aimed, because if you are ready for it and have high calibre, there isn't much they can do, which is a pretty poor mechanic, but hey, there is a lot worse in the game

Looking back, this has been a very interesting video to watch. I always enjoy BO4, I enjoyed outplaying people and dominating to the highest degree and this game allowed it. With that being said though, you raise some very fair points. When I look back, the imbalance in this game was insane and basically only about 5 guns and a couple specialist characters were ever used. It’s crazy to think that even with the game’s MANY broken features, this game still beats any of the “modern” Call of Duty’s. Very very enjoyable and insightful watch though, language used was incredible and I’m glad I found a channel like this.

*probably going to be buried, but whatever* As someone who took black ops 3 and 4 very seriously (from a competitive standpoint), I have to say that the way that multiplayer is being balanced just completely ruins the fun for me. You touched on the mog quite a bit, but its not just that gun. Its other guns too, but most of the other complete bullshit guns are either locked behind supply drops or 50 tiers of grinding. Its the vandetta sniper rifle being probably one of the most brain dead guns to use, but also being able to kill in 1 frame. Same goes with the daemon, it literally nukes people (especially on PC). And I can't even compete with either of these guns because I quit black ops 4 to finish up this last term of college. Its completely unfun having to use an ar that has a TTK of 500ms when jimmy over here gets to one frame me with a daemon. This game is plagued by BS tactics and BS weapons. It had so much potential man..

I love these critique videos. It gives me a different perspective on a game which I thought was OK. Luckily I never bought black ops 4 but got it with a monitor purchase. I played it a little and thought the gun progression was good and satisfying. Then I watched this video and it completely changed my angle on seeing this game. This game has so much power creep in it that I wonder how the playerbase is still playing the game. And I hate, how this game has no system or anything for new players. For example a queue for new players like the newcomer playlist in siege which dosent allow people over level 50 in. I remember when Boot Camp was the first thing everyone did when they played Black Ops for the first time. Rather than getting immediately arse raped by people spamming the M16, AK47, Galil, Ak74u ect ect you got to play against other Level 1 - 10's using the MP5K, Enfield ect ect. But now, every match I get into I have at least two low level 13's on each team.

@@lrshafted1283 the specialists reward you for doing nothing, it wasn't as bad in bo3 because of the movement but you get to notice how OP everything is when you don't got special movement. You acting like giving a free weapon that was in the game day 1 for zombies and blackout for MP and remaking a free BO2 DLC map in the same update that brought 4 supply drop weapons as good things. You get rewarded too much on this game for basically doing nothing, the specialists are earned too fast and people like Recon (who I main) have the same or barely faster regen time on abilities terrible compared to things the prophet and battery. The reason why I liked AW was because it brought something new to the table with the exo movement, but you didn't have complete control of hoe you moved. You could double jump to a set height or dash a set distance, and weren't able to do anything to change your path during that until you hit ground, but in the later cods it allowed you to have more control with your movement that I didnt like that much because I felt like AW shouldve been a one off game but it spawned the next 2 years of special movement. I said I like the core game because it is alright when you don't have people using OP operator mods or the OP supply drop weapons, but I've established the supply drop weapons.

I don’t agree with everything you said, but I agree with almost everything else (thanks for not making me feel alone for liking most of BO4’s DLC maps, by the way) BO4 could’ve been a fantastic game. Multiplayer can be fun from time to time, but it’s mostly incredibly frustrating. Blackout is great, even though it is frustrating a couple times. Zombies is.... well, Zombies, I guess. Huh. The PC meta is _drastically_ different (as expected) than the console meta. I grinded for Dank Matter on Xboner and i can tell you than almost nobody uses Operator mods and almost nobody uses the MOG12 or melee weapons outside of memeing. However, what i can tell you is that a lot of the other gun balancing issues you mentioned definitely overlap. The Titan and the Maddox are ridiculously stupid overpowered. What was strange to me was the fact that you paired the MX9 with the GKS (which, is also the worst SMG in the game for console) and how the MX9 is a phenomenal weapon with two TTK enhancing attachments. One thing i actually do disagree with you (Key word *one*) was how you said that weapon progression is broken when the MOG12, Paladin, Titan, ICR and the AUGR are all the first unlocks in their class. Sure, the SAUG 9MM and the Maddox are unlocked alter down, but the starting roster of weapons are quite solid. Overall, this was actually a really good video. Take my upvote.

@call of duty sucks because of microtransactions I mean, it's not that bad, but I guess in comparison to the other weapons that have none, it is. But all you have to do is just pull down on the stick a bit and it's all good

One thing I will say about the specialists though (which in my opinion, other than manual healing, is the worst additional to the modern COD formula, as it adds so much randomness to the game and makes skill irrelevant, as you can have the best accuracy in the world but still get one hit by a hipfired tempest shot from across the map, for example) is that firebreak and battery are utterly useless after they got nerfed, if the enemy are using flat jacket and in the case of the firebreak's reactor core, tactical mask. Because with flat jacket, a person can be hit with Battery's, cluster nade and survive both the initial blast and clusters if they are using flat jacket (unless they get stuck with it of course) and battery's war machine takes 2 DIRECT hits to the body to kill someone using flat jacket (out of the possible 6 shots she gets). Then with Firebreak's purifier, flat jacket doubles the time to kill, which means someone with flat jacket can easily out gun you, and with his reactor core, someone using flat jacket, tactical mask, or both can survive the entire use of it, right up until firebreak kills himself, which is utter nonsense. So firebreak, who was my favourite specialist in BO3 and BO4 has been made utterly useless because of these nerfs.

Some of the things you say aren't necessarily updated as they have nerfed the range on the spitfire, saug, switchblade, and daemon and buffed the mx9 and gks a ton.

@@DXFromYT no actually the mx9 is the best gun period in hardcore being a 1 shot kill to a nice distance and very competitive to the faster firing in core with the right attachments. The gks saw a massive range buff and now its hitscan so with grip 2 the gks can outgun ARs at range due to the low flinch and better handling than an AR. The mx9 and gks have some solid attachments for their ranges. Mx9 has rapid fire, high cal, and suppressor as well making it really good when modded properly.

I have NEVER sat through a video longer than 20 minutes on here before. Before you came along anyway. Really great job with this video and it sums up everything that is wrong with this game. I reinstalled it the other day to play again and it’s just down right awful. The beta was fun and post launch everything turned to shit. They introduced micro transactions after everyone gave their input and reviews on the game which is disgusting. This is the most money hungry company I’ve come to know in a while.

You see. I always wait and wait for videos like these before I buy a Game. And BO4 is a good example. I just can’t stop finding reasons on why I shouldn’t buy games like these. And I CANNOT find a reason why I should but this game. It’s 60$. And No Story Mode. So, thank you for making this video so I can have even more reasons on why I shouldn’t waste 60$ on this game. I honestly can’t wait until Modern Warfare comes out. But before I buy it for 60$, I will look at reviews, I will look at feedbacks, I will look at beta gameplay before I buy that game!
