Saying it with "G" or none is both correct, it's just that "IDLE" is when they say it in Korean, and "G IDLE" when in English. YUQI's name can be pronounced as "OO-GEE" (like boogie minus B) in Korean, or "YOU-CHI" in Chinese (since she's Chinese) In the lyric video, Miyeon sang all of her part, and Yuqi is not part of it. All of them got a part each. When Soyeon wrote this, she made it personal for each member: ~MINNIE with her famous "uh-oh~~~" line (you'll know once you check more of their music, and saying that she's not interested in money since birth. This is because her family is damn rich in Thailand as a family of musicians, they even got ancient relics from old times as displays on their walls. Basically she's a princess who chose happiness and passion over wealth and comfort. ~YUQI is flexing her deep voice. There is a meaning behind the group name Meaning: 6 different individual girls are gathered together. The G stands for Girls; the I stands for Individual; the DLE is like the Plural form. The G is silent so it’s actually just said as I-DLE but u can also say it with the G. With their I Never Die Album Comeback and the title track Tomboy they decided to drop the G. Like in the lyrics of Tomboy: „It’s neither man nor Woman“, „Just me I-DLE“ they tell us, they don’t want to define themselves as Girls anymore. Also another theory is, that they decided to drop the G because of Soojin.

Yuqi is my bias and is not only because she has one of the most magnetic personalities I've ever seen but also because of her unique voice color, she is mesmerizing (and as you said: HOW such a cutie face can be such a badass!!). This song was Soyeon saying: "look, I have 5 red diamonds with me (4 (Minnie, Miyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) + Soojin) and I'll show off their charms in this song". If someone doesn't know about (G)I-DLE this is the best song to show to them because they'll be able to see their uniqueness.

This song is actually about them and Soyeon showing them off. "five red diamonds in my bag" is a reference to each of the five members, (beside Soyeon since she's the one showing them off) and there's a theory that they were including soojin too. Because if soyeon is showing them off besides herself, it would just be four red diamonds, but there's five which we assume the fifth one was soojin. That's also why you see them each singing on their own, because they're showing off their charm. For example, like how yuqi was rapping about her deep voice, because that's her charm. So yeah, They're the five red diamonds in Soyeons bag, and she's basically showing off her members as they each show off their own unique charm. Personally, I felt 'Hann (alone)' and 'Hwaa' were Soojin's stand-out performances. Showcased her dance talent, and the fashion was on-point. On 'Oh My God' you may burn out your rewind button when watching Soojin's part. I-Dle dropped the (G) when talking about/introducing themselves during the Tomboy comeback. I have been told the (G) stood for 'girl' and they are not girls anymore. It is still part of their name if you want to call them that and it's fine.
