I'm not sure your question? It's the same process removing the prime grip and reinstalling it

For the next mod, paint that white Dye jewel on the back of the grip frame (with the joystick) black. I did it to mine and it looks much nicer.

I've done this to multiple M3 jewels - sanded, cleaned, Krylon Fusion x3 layers, clear coat x3 layers. It looks 100x better and holds up better than the stock chrome plating.
